PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) is a hormone condition that has a variety of symptoms including irregular periods, excessive hair growth on the face & body, weight gain, oily skin, weight gain & difficulty conceiving.

Although no one can cure PCOS, a well-balanced diet can help to reduce symptoms effectively to aid insulin regulation.
What shouldn't you eat with POCS?
There are a few foods & drinks you should either limit or avoid if you suffer from POCS. These are similar to those with acne too as they all have an effect on hormones. These include but are not limited to:

Refined carbohydrates such as white bread

Fizzy, sugary drinks

Fried foods

Processed meats (such as hot dogs & McDonald's burgers)
Is PCOS curable?
There is currently no cure for PCOS, however, you can optimise certain areas of your life to better manage the symptoms, and one of these areas is your diet. A well-balanced nutritional plan & diet will help to maintain your insulin levels and reduce symptoms of PCOS.
What should you eat with POCS?
There are foods you can eat more of to also help reduce symptoms. This includes but not limited to:​

fatty fish, including salmon, tuna, sardines, and mackerel

kale, spinach, and other dark, leafy greens

dark red fruits, such as red grapes, blueberries, blackberries, and cherries

broccoli and cauliflower
